The HSM VK 12018 channel baling press is a fully automatic baler suitable for baling large amounts waste like packaging, cardboard, paper, plastic foil, DSD goods, sorted residual waste and substitute fuels. The high-performance baler has a throughput of approximately 887 m³/h, ideal for larger settings like the printing and paper industry, processing industry, document shredding industry, waste disposal companies large department stores, etc. It also features a gimballed press cylinder system that reduced wear on the pressing cylinder and press ram guides, helping it work efficiently for a long time.
The HSM VK 12018 is an ideal solution for compressing cardboard, plastic film, OCC, and PET bottles. The baler features a solid press carriage guidance system with easy maintenance access, ensuring precise bale length even when frequently switching materials. The optimally adjusted software accommodates various materials, guaranteeing high bale quality despite frequent material changes. It is best suited for continuous feeding via a conveyor belt or air feeding. Constructed from solid steel with highly wear-resistant parts in the press chamber and press channel, the VK 12018 is built for durability. The gimballed press cylinder system reduces wear on the pressing cylinder and press ram guides. It also features 5-fold strapping for optimal bale results, even with expansive materials. A wear-resistant steel variant of the machine, designed for handling residual waste, is available as an option. Additionally, an option with a frequency-regulated drive, which reduces energy consumption by 40% compared to standard drives, is also available with POWER Bear [Driving power options include: 45 + 45 kW, 45 + 45 kW frequency controlled, 55 + 55 kW, 55 + 55 kW frequency controlled, 75 + 75 kW, 30 + 30 kW frequency controlled].
