5.5 CBM is an entry level closed skip, very useful for process waste, commercial waste and industrial applications. Steel lids are designed light weight and are meant for heavy duty use. Construction wise bottom plate is 6 mm and side wall plate is 4 mm. Triple-tipping device on both sides makes it very easy to handle from any side using chain loader trucks. It has enough branding friendly space to describe waste disposal instructions and caution messages. Skips are primered and then painted in RAL color of your choice. All the closed skips are manufactured according to DIN 30720 or local standard.
Symmetric in design with spring loaded lids on each side allows optimized filling of skip. 5.5 cbm skip is an initial size skip most suited for waste that requires low height for disposal or if the application is such that user wants to limit the waste volume not to exceed certain level. For high density industrial waste 5.5 cbm is a best solution. It does not require for the user to lift the lid with muscular effort, just a release lock mechanism will allow pushing the lid in a smooth way upwards for waste discharge and to bring back the lid for closing a chain is fixed at lid that help user to pull the lid down and lock the lid effortlessly.

Are the lids on the covered top skips are heavy to lift?No the lids of the skips are lighter in weight and built strong. There is no human effort to lift the lid as it has released locks and the lid opens slowly and easily due to spring mechanism.
Can the covered skips have lids that has apertures for recyclables only?Yes, it can be offered with customized apertures upon special requirements.
